How to start a web design business
with Web Design Academy
How to start a web design business is the brainchild of David and Claire from Webmedia in Chester. They wanted to use their 10 years experience in the industry to help others get into this rewarding profession.
Almost every business, public authority and community group needs a website these days and despite the proliferation of ‘self-build’ website products, the ability to design and build a professional website remains the dominion of those with the right creative and technical expertise.
There are really only two things you need to succeed in starting a web design business; the ability to build great websites and the ability to sell them.
At Web Design Academy we provide high quality training, guidance and support to those who want a career in web design, founded on 10 years of direct commercial experience.
Why start a web design business?
Web design can be an ideal business to start for several reasons:
- The market for web design is huge.
- You don’t need a lot of money to start a web design business.
- You can operate the business from home.
- You can adopt flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.
- Web design is a ‘cash rich’ business ie. it doesn’t require you to give large amounts of credit.
- You can be up and running in just a few weeks.
